If you go there just at sunrise, there's almost no one there. Just a few temple attendants sweeping the leaves. I've been in Japan 3 weeks now, I gotta say I love this place. Here's a photo from my first morning, when my sleep schedule was messed up and I actually got up before sunrise. :-) The shrine itself is a large, impressive structure.
